One day , Cassie and her mum went for a teacup ride . Cassie and her mum had different feelings , Cassie felt scared and she cried. Meanwhile,Cassie's mum felt it was fun . The teacup whirled so fast that the blue of the sea and the sky blurred into the bright fairground colours .
When the ride stopped , Cassie heard her mother taking a deep, shaky breath . She giggled and said "We'll try something slower next ." Cassie said that she felt dizzy .
Cassie's mom tottered out of the teacup ." It's your birthday , my lucky star !" she said ,"Choose whatever you like ! "
