Assassination - justified?

Yes. Caesar's assassination is fair.

There was a reason why Brutus and Cassius feared Caesar's ambition.
If he became emperor, he could abuse his power and use it for wrong-doing.
They feared that, and that was why they passed away on the battlefield;
while at war with Antony and Octavia.

With Antony, Caesar's friend and Octavius, Caesar's great-nephew in control of Rome,
the future of Rome was saved.

Life on Rewind

Helpless and chubby, just a baby,
Keen and curious, now a child,
Young and happy, now in primary school,
Carefree and reckless, in middle school I was,
Stressed and serious, the final years in high school,
Working hard, now and adult,
Retirement arrived, a grandfather as jolly as can be.

Survivor - A mini saga

My clothes were half-torn,pants were ripped, metal-rods penetrated through my left wrist and walking on a muddy, wet surface with hungry zombies chasing me while an explosive was  ticking on my abs .I tripped and slide across the road with a car accelerating at me and I woke up.

The Job - A Poem

Life as colourful as chatons and rivoli,

Fingers delicate and soft like little daisies,

From art rooms to classrooms ; from labs to fields,

Learning and venturing the deep-rooted skills,

Meeting people for the first time,

And making friends of all kind,

To love and cherish humans of my heart,

Hoping to grasp onto them till’ death do us part.

Life in Many Stages

A baby as quiet as a mouse
Eyes full of wonder
Although often fell ill
It was to make her stronger

A creative little girl
Always eager to learn something new
Doodling on paper
Never once feeling blue

Open and friendly she once was
Many friends she had
Although nobody's perfect
As sometimes she was bad

Her brain filled with knowledge
Every class she more than just pass
Although her heart yearned for something else
Older yet still doodling in class

Working odd jobs here and there
Dreaming of going far
Determined to fly high
And reach for the stars

A new life in a new country
Sitting at her desk writing and planning
Finishing up the script
Before the camera starts rolling

Old and retired
Yet her movies shall live on
For if she's remembered in her work
Then she'll never truly be gone

The Chill

A chilly day, while walking home from school.
Bumping into an old friend, Martha and catching up.
Walking by shops and trying on clothes, bags.
Conversations varied from all topics possible.
As we paid our farewells, a phone call came,
and news on Martha’s death a week ago was informed.

Caesar assassinated : was it fair?

Yes and no.

Yes because they were afraid that Caesar would claim the title of King, overthrow the Senate and rule as a tyrant. This was the reason why they planned to assassinate Caesar.

Some may say that Caesar deserved to be killed because he seemed like he was very cocky and that he enjoyed the idea that everyone loved him.

No, because as much as they were afraid, they were also jealous of Caesar, and the very idea that a commoner might have the chance to become an emperor. Also, jealousy can't be counted as a proper reason on why they would kill Caesar, but in his case, that was the exact reason!

They killed someone because they were afraid of him becoming emperor; when he hasn't even become one nor being promoted to one. So what they are afraid of isn't true, it was a fear based reaction and an emotionally charged plan which in turn makes no sense in the end, as the events that unfolded later turned out to be very different from the intended idea.

Pity

In the blink of an eye, Anne reached the cottage,
hoping she sees who she had been wanting to see in years.
She knocked the door happily but then she looks disappointed.
It was only her mother, but, Anne spent time with her mom,
although she was searching for “him”.

Unicorn

Falling from the sky, when I thought the last thing I would see in this world,
was just white fluffy clouds.
The pressure was so hard I felt as if my whole hair would be ripped out.
Suddenly, I landed on something.
 I was no longer falling but floating.
Unicorn.

Mother - A mini saga

Awoken from my slumber in the dead of night.
Pained wails echoed through the house, it was mother
"Jamie! Help me!" she cried, "I was attacked! "
I dashed into the darkness.
 A hand clasped my mouth as I was pulled into a room.
It was mother.
"I heard that too".

About life

A clueless baby,
Wandering around in the big world,
A baby who is always sleepy,
And always getting hurt.

Four years old and still shy,
Too difficult to make friends,
And silence was my only lullaby,
Until people approached me and all of that came to an end.

Grew older but I still cry at little things,
Tripping and falling down almost every single day,
My eyes was always shiny as if they were diamond rings,
And everytime, there was nothing I could say.

Jumped a year in secondary school,
However that doesn't mean I am smart,
Sometimes I act like a fool,
But that doesn't mean my class and I will be apart.

Everyday is a study day,
Assignments and projects is a must-do in the weekends,
But all of this is to get a good pay,
So all the studying will never end.

As I find a job,
I learn how hard work is,
Still, I will never sob,
Even if I start to sympathize my parents.

This was a dream that I had,
Ever since I was small,
Being a dancer isn't so bad,
Because it teaches me to get up if I fall.

Life in Stages

Four people towering over me;

Serenading me as my eyes flutter shut.

Nursery rhymes start to grow into memory;

Never letting one out.

Prayers spread everywhere just for me;

While I'm here relying on it.

Hopefully one day that will change;

Before I experience a strange, new change.

Hope rising up one day with wage;

I'm working on my brand new phase.

Now with many new faces, I'm amazed ;

Not letting any of them off my gaze.

Mini Saga : The Highest Score

Joe slammed open the door.
"Mum!" he exclaimed, "this is the highest score that I have ever gotten on my test!"
Feeling anxious, he held up his report card to his mother.
"You know what? Get out of my house and bring this
report on your drug test with you!"

Life

How beautiful life is, so cute so cuddly;

So innocent this child, so promising, so bright;

To reach teenage, in time, so emotional so broke;

To face life, he will, mature he must grow.

Independence he has learned, from the days of his youth;

Successful in career, incomplete, he is still.

A beautiful wife, a love he has found;

To raise children of his own, responsible, he has become.

Old and beat, his body now says;

Retire and rest, let your child take his stand.

Grandchildren he longed, and grandchildren he got;

Spoil them he must, for their father, he is not.

Short, life is, before long, it is gone;

To the ground he goes, satisfied and warm.

Stages of Life

Throwing a tantrum, toddler me made a fuss over everything.

Being a teenager is fun, during those times all I remember was me laughing.

In college, different characters and personas challenged me to stay true to oneself.

Reality strikes, employers scream "I could do it better myself!"

As time flies responsibilities come, to be the provider & caretaker for my children and wife.

Now that I am old and crippled, I realized that I have always been a liability my entire life.
